MTÜ Elav Ajalugu is looking for volunteers to help welcome visitors to Epping Museum, located in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town.
Tasks include selling tickets at the reception, guiding visitors, and assisting with hands-on activities such as wearing medieval chainmail (20 kg), trying a medieval crossbow, and minting coins.
The museum is not very busy, so during quieter periods, you may read, study, or enjoy tea/coffee.
What skills/resources are expected from the voulunteers?
Good Estonian and English skills (most visitors are international tourists)
Other languages (e.g. German, French) are a bonus
Good communication skills and polite interaction with visitors
Ability to lift up to 20 kg when assisting with chainmail demonstrations
