For one day, organizations dealing directly or indirectly with literature will come together on the street, and a rich cultural program will be born in co-creation.
There will be book presentations, discussion groups, public recordings of literary and cultural discussions, meetings with writers, readings, in addition to music, theater, etc.
Volunteers can have different tasks during the whole day.
The day starts at 8:00 a.m. and the last work would be completed at 0:00 a.m. 8.-12.00 you have to help create the street – carry bookcases, furniture, lay out rugs, pillows, put up an exhibition, set up tents, etc.
From 12:00 to 18:00 you have to be a helper for the partners – a supervisor at the activities, helper at the museums, a security person in the children’s area, a guide and an information distributor, etc.
18.00-19.00 Picking up the street space created in the morning 19.-22. poetry picnic and last gatherings where helpers are needed.
22.-00. the last cleaning so that everything will be in its place and there will be no trace of us by morning 🙂
What skills/resources are expected from the voulunteers?
Willingness and communication skills are very useful.
