Join the International Volunteer Program by Humana People to People – a transformative 10-month journey where you’ll learn, collaborate, and contribute to sustainable long-term development projects. You’ll work hands-on with communities through impactful initiatives focused on: Education, Health, Community Development, and Sustainable Agriculture.
Program Structure:
- 3 Months Training in Denmark: Build a strong foundation through extensive training and preparation on development, politics of inequalities, and practical skills with other international volunteers.
- 6 Months On-the-Ground Volunteering: Contribute directly to long-term community-led projects in one of the following countries: India, Malawi, Zambia or Guinea-Bissau.
- 1 Month Reflection & Evaluation in Denmark: Reflect, evaluate and share your experiences.
Program Cost:
€3.650,- with a scholarship opportunity to cover 80% of the cost. We believe volunteering shouldn’t be limited by finances – scholarships help ensure accessibility for all committed individuals.

What does the organization offer?
Humana People to People fully covers the six months of volunteering, including vaccinations, round-trip travel, accommodation, health insurance, and a monthly allowance for food expenses. The four months in Denmark are self-funded; however, Humana also offers scholarships to support volunteers.
