We are looking for volunteers to help maintain the Meelteaed, where you can remove weeds from the flowerbeds, mulch and cut roses, plaster flowers, add peat and cover roses for the winter, etc. Remove moss and grass from pavements between concrete blocks. We especially need help late April, late October, when we need to get the garden ready for winter and set up for summer gardening in spring.
The Meelteaed was established in 2013 at Metsamõis farm, Clean Water Theme Park, Järsi village, Tapa municipality, Lääne-Viru County, for therapeutic purposes.

What skills/resources are expected from the voulunteers?
Skills include the ability to use a hoe, trowel, shovel, bedrock cleaner and hand truck, weed removal. We can provide tools: hoes, shovels, lawn shovels, concrete block gap cleaner, hand truck on site. If there is a larger work party you can bring your own tools, as understandably we may not have tools for everyone.
What volunteering offers?
We serve farmhouse soup and tea cooked on the campfire. Of course, good company, beautiful nature and the satisfaction of the contribution made by the participants of the garden therapy sessions.
